ABOUT TAMI
DJ Temi has made a name for herself across London as an adaptable multi genre DJ who has played at the likes of many 5-star venues such as Libertine, MNKY HSE and The Cuckoo Club. Known for her smooth transitions across different genres and uplifting beats, Temi specialises in Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall, Reggae, Afrobeats, Amapiano, House, Garage, Reggaeton, Disco, Funk and Commercial.
Growing up, Temi was taking dance classes and performing on stage from a young age which improved her stage presence and natural sensibility towards different music styles. In 2014, Temi started exploring Dancehall as a dance style as well as a music genre and developed a passion for Jamaican culture. Now Temi regularly travels to Kingston where she continues training as a Dancehall dancer, expanding her knowledge of Jamaica’s music history and showcasing her DJ skills in various venues.

In her teenage years, Temi was travelling and working as a model
which immersed her in the fashion world. It also provided her access to high-end nightclubs around the world, where she could not help but notice a lack of female DJs. After moving to London in 2017, Temi received a BA in Tourism and Events Management, as well as an MA in Music Business Management.
Her research focused on gender disparities in events and the
entertainment/ music industries, as well as among DJs. To further explore her interest in gender imbalance amongst DJs and music business professionals, DJ Temi created a podcast called ‘Females in the Mix’, where she talks to women working in the music and entertainment industries about their experiences.
When DJ Temi is not travelling, you can find her playing in central London clubs, bars, shops, and restaurants. Temi is a resident and has worked in many well-known 5-star venues and radios, such as 100 Wardour Street, The Nest, Madera, Libertine, The Cuckoo Club, Dear Darling, Jin Bo Law, White City House, Nobu, Inca, Sumosan Twiga, The Ned, Toca Social (The O2), Madison Rooftop, MNKY HSE, IT London, Ours, Mano Mayfair, W London, EGG and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
DJ Temi also works with celebrities, such as Roger Federer, Edouard Mendu, Ne-Yo, Wizkid and Stefflon Don, as well as brands like Nike, Mac, Gymshark, Charlotte Tilbury and Nicce, to name a few. Her mixes can be heard on international radios like Kiss Fresh, Reprezent, Westside, Hard Times (ESP), and StylzFM (JA).
